What is The Count?

Coming from the outside, I needed to gather a team to help steer the ship. In the two years since I took on the role, I have been blessed to work with some of the sharpest minds in the industry and I couldn’t be prouder of what we have achieved so far.

I won’t lie, when I first entered iGaming, I had my concerns. Aspects of the industry felt stuck in a state of stasis. People were making money, and as long as that continued to happen and margins were healthy, why innovate? Just keep doing the same things over and over, with marginal improvements when necessary.

As someone with a naturally curious mind, I found this frustrating. However, in a short period of time, I have seen positive changes. Recent regulatory shifts and an increasingly competitive landscape are pushing companies to innovate, and those unwilling to adapt are being left behind.

About The Count

Another influencer (fictitious name, João) shares live game-style videos on his stories, simulating high-paying gaming sessions. In them, he points out which operator or game “is paying the most”, while in another piece of content, he posts a screenshot of his exclusive Telegram group, where he shares “highest payout” times for betting on specific games.

In a third publication, he “teaches” the gambler to observe patterns in the game interface, such as an animation on the tiger’s face, a specific glow that appears or a sequence of supposed events that indicate that the big win is about to happen.

On the Instagram profiles of gambling operators, the content varies according to the brand’s strategies. It ranges from the use of humorous and entertaining videos to the generic use of AI in banners advertising promotions, available casino games and important sporting events with betting odds.

What is The Count?

The significance here isn’t the individual modifiers. It’s the reuse pattern. Blueprint is carrying a differentiator across the franchise, reinforcing a recognizable identity rather than asking returning players to learn a new core engine.

The pattern reflects a wider supplier tactic: building recurring mechanical families so a proven feature can be redeployed across multiple titles. That approach lowers development risk and reduces the familiarity barrier for players. For operators, it typically means a steady supply of new content that behaves in predictable, sellable ways.

Blueprint has been explicit about the commercial thinking. Alex Naspe, marketing director at Blueprint Gaming, said: “Building on the success of Triple Action Cash Strike, we have welcomed the return of the pots mechanic, showcased through a vibrant display featuring fireballs with a series of modifiers for a heightened bonus experience.” He added that the studio expects the title to “further strengthen the series’ position within our portfolio and deliver another engaging addition for our operator partners and their players worldwide.”
